Since 1965 Cathy has been involved with horses. In 1982 she graduated with honors from Southern Illinois University earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science with a minor in Agriculture Business. From 1983 to 1993 she worked within the field of agriculture retiring to peruse her passion full-time. In 1998 she received her certification as an Equine Massage Sports Therapist. Cathy has been educated at home and abroad in hunt-seat, equitation, dressage, western and English pleasure, saddle-seat equitation and is an avid trail rider and horse camper haven ridden thousands of miles over 3 continents. In 1986 she married and in 1987 the first of countless foals were born, bought and trained. Starting in 1996 Cathy begun her own business selling quality horse-related items along with a yearly catalog. Over the years, Cathy has answered countless questions and provided handy tips for thousands of horse owners consulting free of charge for the benefit of the horse.
